It’s been a while since I last put up a repost series for those who are either only lately come and those who do not mind a little of the familiar. Sometimes it is fun to step again inside your own footsteps – these are from the fall of 2005:

Virginia – a trip home, and all that that evokes.

Flight school advice – A flight school student asks for some advice. The real value, I think, was in the comments. It still stands up.

A conversation with my burrito – Another trip to Norfolk. You’ll maybe begin to understand why it isn’t safe for me to travel.

A conversation with the urinal – Some people say it’s strange to have these conversations when holding cylindrical objects in your hands. Others would rather not talk about it at all.

Emergency sortie – What happens when you get “left behind.”

Po’ Lazlorus – What happens when you get “back aboard.”

So – which is a touching story of the indignities attaching to a flight physical on the wrong side of 40.
