Calling all amateur crash investigators

So, looking at the picture below, what can you tell the board about that F-15 that crashed in Missouri?

A pilot was able to eject himself before his F-15 Air National Guard jet crashed Friday morning in the Mark Twain National Forest.  An air ambulance took the pilot to a hospital in St. Louis, where a spokeswoman says his injuries are not life threatening.   His name and rank were not immediately released…

The cause and other details of the crash are not available.  Law enforcement and military agencies secured the scene.  The governor’s office said the Air Force is investigating the crash.
