  1. An interesting mix of aircraft, Glenn. Looks like it was a fine day.

  2. Looked at the buno on the fine A6E on display, checked the logbook and there it was. Flew that same jet when it was an A6A some (gasp, can it be) 40 years ago. It was in VA-128 colors then. The jet looks really good, hasn’t aged at all!

      Busbob, that’s a stunner.

I recently looked up family on Ancestry.com when I found a picture of me as a LTJG in my first deployment’s cruise book.

    • Even worse, when I flew that jet I had a 31 inch waist, jet black hair and lots of it, and 20/15 vision in both eyes. The jet hasn’t aged at all but all that stuff I had has departed the pattern.

Think all the vintage a/c were wheeled over from the Leatherneck Air Museum. Not many fly-ins.

  4. Bill Brandt

The Beechcraft looks a bit weird in WW2 Luftwaffe markings!

    Busbob – quite a story!
