Most of those were truly art. For some reason, one not shown always sticks in my mind during my first week in the Army. We were at Ft Ord, in those old WW2 barracks (that – with the potbelly stove for heat we were told the barracks would go up in 5 minutes – was a poster circa 1967 with a tough looking soldier surrounded by jungle, with the caption saying to keep your experience in training the new soldiers.
