I suppose I am a bit like Lex – not that I don’t like football (I don’t) but usually I can take or leave Super Bowls (or any other bowl for that matter).
Last Sunday I took our car club on a drive.
Listing to the game on the radio by halftime thought it was pretty dull.
Which turned out to be wrong, I guess.
Gotta brag here, I earned bonus points Sunday. My lovely wife and I started dance lessons all over again last month and wouldn’t you know the lessons are on Sunday evenings. I can’t stand the Super Bowl hoopla and halftime exhibition anyway and figured we’d be back by the end of the 4th quarter when the good stuff would happen if it wasn’t a blowout.
So, massive brownie points on the home front and the power failure at the game let me see all of the 4th quarter.
A win-win fer the old guy!
