A couple of weeks or so ago, we lost our friend, coworker, wingman and shipmate, Ed Cunningham.

This is the shot taken the day after with the 416 CTF, 416 FLTS and 416 AMU rendering honors to his Flag in this jet as it taxies for a memorial flyover. Pilots, Flying Engineers, Engineers, Maintainers and the Family are lined up for this most solemn event.

  1. Bill Brandt

    Sorry for your loss

  2. Speaking of loss, has anybody kept touch with the Lex’s family as we’re heading into the holidays? This will be their first without him where he’s not out at sea or deployed and can’t even come home or catch up when it’s over. It might be a tough time for them though I’m sure family is going to help hopefully. I tried to contact them with a note through Lex’s site but it’s basically a skeleton now with a few lights left on.
