    The pictures zapped me back in time, I was on the Connie with the same air wing on her previous deployment. Flew the A-6′s in the pictures, tanked the A-7′s, F-8′s, F-14′s you see there. It can’t be that many years ago. Just can’t, although now there are days when my airframe feels like the Connie looked in those pictures.

    Tired, but a proud ship! Now she sits in retirement up in WA I think

    She still looked better even then, than the LCS after shifting ports from east to west coast.
