    I take it Lex was getting his check flight in the Hornet? To think his base to final – 220 kts – was twice the speed of the Varga Kachina – and Garmin is even in the F/A-18?

    I have been out of flying too long ;-)

      Actually Bill, based on the date of the post and the overall context, I do believe Lex was writing about the Kfir.
