Amy Proctor who was the proprietor of Bottom Line, Up Front which is now no longer active has allowed me to blog her photos. Her husband has just deployed to Afghanistan from Fort Stewart, Georgia. The pictures start with taking their children to the Warrior's Walk.....................

Amy is a Facebook Friend as a result of the blogo-sphere. She has hinted that the blog may be back to chronicle the deployment.

    Too little attention is given the families left behind when a loved one deploys – and Amy’s pictures capture this perfectly. Let’s pray for John’s safe return – and the return of all those warriors.

    I grew up in a Navy town; I know what these moments mean to these kids and what all the time between now…and then, will mean to them. May Dame Fortune and their own training bring them all home safely.
