I’ll bet Lex would have seen Act of Valor and been one of the first to comment on it. The one thing I got out of reading about SEAL training is that it is “mind over matter”. Those who think they are muscular enough are among the first to voluntarily leave; to right the bell
And it is an actual bell just sitting there by their training site.
I thought of Lex when we went to see …Valor as it was about 10 days after his passing. And I could only find one word to comment on the film and it was one I heard at The Mothership many times:

Kris – Lex saw a subtle moment tin the movie that I missed completely –
“The practiced grace and ease of warriors entirely within their own skin. There’s a moment where a SEAL takes a sliding knee to get into firing position behind a column. Even as he slides into that position, he subtly kicks a leg out to refine his cover, changing his vector from a more exposed position to one more perfectly suited to offensive action and defensive superiority.
I have to re-watch the movie! All I know about movies and firearms handling is that if the actor is running around with his finger on the trigger I know the director doesn’t know his head from his –
