The interesting part was that the Navy had pretty much ‘lost’ the manual on how to actually DO the tracking and other pieces and parts against a ‘real’ bad guy sub. The kids in the airplanes did fine, the chain of command, not so much…
I am sure that among the submariners there are a ton of classified stories but Lex was right – what a training opportunity!
