Oddly enough, I was dating an aviator in this squadron during the time they were doing their workups with the French Navy. He couldn’t say enough good things about the aviators and crew. He worked very closely with them during their training ops on the Roosevelt and when they were deployed together in the Persian Gulf in 2008.
And actually he was the one who pushed me to start reading this very cool blogsite called Neptunus Lex. He wanted me to understand the life of a Naval Aviator through the eyes of a man he served with and respected.
