I laughed out loud at that!
Dang. I spent the better part of an hour re-reading all 93 comments, which were at least as entertaining as Lex’s post. Even though the comments got kinda dicey at times they were… for the most part… about as civil as civil gets on such an emotional subject.
Ah. We certainly miss Former Happy Days.
Buck – I did the same thing and wondered what happened to Casca? Did Lex eventually ban him? Or did he just fade away. Then the random blue comment would be there – Lex, speaking to us. sigh I am so thankful his famly has been so willing to keep things alive and not just saved in an archive for later publishing.
I think he faded away, Kris. As far as I know Lex only banned the serious trolls, those that had NOTHING to add to the conversation and delighted in being offensive and insulting in a vulgar way. While Casca was often offensive, he did have his lucid moments.
I might add this issue was brought up on the series Carrier – a tour of the Nimitz being filmed some 6 years ago. There were 2 female pilots in this Hornet Squadron. One of them was saying that at times she felt like her fellow pilots were like big brothers; other times she had only her female friend for solace.
I would imagine it would be tough at times. But I laughed at the thought of that female pilot giving “Tutor” what he deserved.
When I was 10 I got into a fight with a girl who was a foot taller than me, and outweighed me by 20 lbs. She just sat on me and kept swinging
I had a late aunt, considered a nasty mean woman by everyone in the family. The story goes during her childhood she chased a boy up a tree.
