I remember reading about this guy. He is, as the article says, a legend among aircraft repossessors.
And I think it is the rush that keeps him doing it.
But this? Popovich’s first rule of firearms is pretty simple: The man who tells you he’s going to shoot you will not shoot you.
Don’t know if I’d bet my life on that – but it has worked for him
One other thing – a lot of these people were highly leveraged and of course with the downturn in the economy all came crashing down.
But I guess one of the funnier things I read recently was this onetime billionaire-on-paper couple in FL who now have this have unfinished 90,000 sf McMansion
Bill Brandt, About your comment about the guy who tells you, he gonna shoot you. You don’t worry about him. The one to worry about is the one who shoots first and then yells, “Halt!” Then you hear, “Dang it, I always get that backwards!” 8 ^ )
Bill Brandt, which part did he play? Was he the shooter or target? What kind of practice did he get. It does make a *BIG* difference, in live fire. If Popovich spent a little more time as a practice target, it just might take some of the edge off of his comment. Just think of some of the things that it might cure, like constipation or breathing. “Reaching out and touching somebody” has many meanings. (Snicker, snicker)

- and the bank has told them they have to give up their Gulfstream jet (which is pretty much the top of the line in executive jets)
Wonder if Mr Popovich will be coming for it.

Grumpy – Practice makes perfect!
I thought Popovich’s comment a bit strange, but then he has practiced it – and lived to tell about it.
I just know that if faced with someone from the military who tells you to halt – or he’ll shoot – he can’t say he didn’t warn you!
