That is sad about the British Navy – and right he was on his comment on Nelson. All over social spending, which if we are not vigilant, many want to do here. The Pentagon is already being stretched and spending as a percentage of GDP is way down from traditional levels.
I’m shamed by our Administration’s complicity with this farce. “Malvinas” hell. The “question” over those islands was resolved when I was a lad. To claim that the Argintinians have a leg to stand on (ESPECIALLY given the desires of the inhabitants) is insulting.
I thing I noticed with this round of unpleasantness – the British notified the Argentinians that they have a nuclear sub patrolling the area but naturally that is the only info given.
Sorta like telling your opponent that you have a friendly Great White Shark patrolling around the swimming beach “sometimes” but can’t be more specific
