Picked a great one to end the week. Re-reading all the comments was incredible, as always. I have to believe that wherever Lex is – he’s got all that he wanted and is just waiting, for as long as it takes, for his perpetual girlfriend to join him.
Me? I still want what I said back then – not much more than I have already; perhaps financial freedom. Otherwise I am pretty content.
having gotten to know Lex vicariously I want him to have what he wants. Beyond that, I don’t really know.
I suspect Man’s Wants are what drives him to achievement – and mischief.
Short of the Hobbit and their offspring, I suspect Lex is well on the way to having everything he ever hoped for. Heaven is like that, I’m told.
So, standby for Mongo at the helm. This could be fun. {he he he}Sorry. That was Evil Mongo. Let not your heart be troubled. :-{P
Gotta echo Kris (minus the new hip, for now the original equipment seems ok
). Very happy and grateful for what I have.
One thing I want I already have and hope to never lose: to watch my two boys “grow up to honorable manhood around us” (h/t to Maj Sullivan Ballou for the phrase: http://www.civilwardads.com/CivilWarArchives/SullivanBallou.htm).

Still, a bigger house in a better neighborhood would be nice as well…
