    How appropos to our current situation in the Afwhack-A-Mole scenario. Given enough of a force put in play for a long enough period of time, we really could have done in the Taliban. When we focused our time and talent in Vietnam, the Viet Cong became little more than a memory.

    Oh, how the lessons lost from the pages of history do come back to punish us!
